European Weather site

This site is very comprehensive, giving satellite maps, and various weather charts from Bracknell and the US military, showing the predicted situation up to 5 days ahead. Also useful for European NOTAMS. On the home page you can also put in any designator and get an instant taf or metar.

Met-Office For weather in the UK, I think this website is the best, giving forecast charts, tafs and metars with both ICAO airfield designators and full names. There’s also a general three day planning forecast.

Skyview This Skyview website is very interactive and gives pictorial views of the weather over the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, OZ & NZ. There is loads of information on this site and well worth looking at. Skyview are hoping to link all club airfields to this site complete with webcams in the future.

CAA Aircraft Register

On this page you can look at the CAA Aircraft Register and search for any combination of aircraft types, registrations or owner and come up with details on how many of a particular type there are on the British register or details of a particular aeroplane such as number of hours at last C of A, serial numbers and owner’s name and address.
